The Grantville Gazette is a semi-monthly electronic magazine devoted to the 1632 universe. In addition, it publishes stories set in other “Assiti Shards” universes such as Time Spike as well as publishing traditional SF stories in continuation of Jim Baen’s Universe magazine and columns by well known SF authors.
Ring of Fire Press is a small press publisher who publishes stories that we couldn’t fit in Baen’s schedule, as well as other SF books by independent authors.
Mike Watson has created a search engine with the full text of almost all published 1632 material. As of August 2017 it had full text indexes of all Baen books through 1636: Mission to the Mughals, all Ring of Fire Press books through Love and Chemistry and all Grantville Gazettes through Volume 72. Visit the site to see the current complete list.

Eric’s personal home page not only has many of Eric’s personal thoughts and posts, but it is the distribution site for snippets (short takes from upcoming novels) not only from Eric but from many other Baen authors. Following the snippets lets you read ahead even before e-arcs come out.
In addition to other places, the 1632 team posts news and announcements on their Facebook page.
Eric frequently posts news, opinion, and announcements on his Facebook page.
Baen’s Bar serves many functions for the 1632 community. It provides our chat forum, it is where stories are submitted and commented on for the Gazette, and it provides access to the greater Baen community. Go join the barflies!
Baen Books is now making available — for free — a number of its titles in electronic format. We’re calling it the Baen Free Library. Anyone who wishes can read these titles online — no conditions, no strings attached. (Later we may ask for an extremely simple, name & email only, registration. ) Or, if you prefer, you can download the books in one of several formats. Again, with no conditions or strings attached.
Among other titles, 1632 itself is available free there. Or, you can jump directly to the 1632 read or download page.
