Hi, I'm relatively new to the bar and the 163x universe having read the main 2 books and many of the short stories all since roughly New Year 2004.
Here's a bit about myself.  I was born in San Diego, CA in 1966.  My father was in the Navy, and I was born in the Naval Hospital.  I lived in CA for approximately 6 weeks when my mother took me home to Kansas where I lived the next 32 years.  I was raised in the Kansas City area, went to high school, undergrad, grad school, and worked in the Kansas City area until . . .  I met my wife in a Yahoo Trivia Chat room.  The day after I was sworn in as an attorney in KS, she swore me in as her husband.  She is from the L.A., CA area so she moved me to Beverly.  Hills that is (actually West L.A.).
I went to Sumner Academy High School in Kansas City, KS.  I received a BSBA and MBA from Rockhurst College, KC, MO, and a JD from UMKC.  I have started several businesses and worked for the IRS.  I guess the start of my love for fantasy/sci-fi reading began with Gulliver's Travels when I was about nine or ten years old.  The love for the genres is much older.  In my first appearance in home movies, I am in a stroller with hands and face plastered to the screen as an episode of Star Trek plays.
Oh, and I have been in a wheelchair since I was 12.  A result of a diving accident.  If you want more info, read my story in Slush, Wheels within Wheels.  Me email address is there, but if you spam me, I'll hunt you down and run you over!!!
I have a diverse background, I have close family that are upper middle-class (rich) intellectuals, and many more family members people would call P.W.T. (what's so wrong with living in a trailer house anyway?)  My favorite place in the world is in Ozark Co. Missouri, so I relate well with hillbillies.  I guess that's one reason I like the 163x universe so much.  Plus I have been thinking of writing a time warped story of my own for some time.
